L - Level Reading Grade Level. You can search for items by certain reading grades by entering grade numbers
in the Reading level boxes.
You can search for a specific reading level by entering the same reading
level in both the first and second Reading level boxes.
You can search using a reading level range by entering a starting value in
the first Reading level box and an ending value in the second box.
If you enter a reading level value in the first Reading level box and then
leave the second box empty, your search results will contain items that are
equal to or greater than the value you enter.
If you leave the first Reading level box empty and then enter a reading
level value in the second box, your search results will contain items that
are less than or equal to the value you enter.
P - Points Points possible.
You can search for items by certain number of points by entering values in the
Points Value boxes.
You can search for a specific point value by entering the same point value
in both the first and second Point Value boxes.
You can search using a point value range by entering a starting value in
the first Point Value box and an ending value in the second box.
If you enter a point value in the first Point Value box and then leave the
second box empty, your search results will contain items that are equal to
or greater than the value you enter.
If you leave the first Point Value box empty and then enter a point value
in the second box, your search results will contain items that are less than
or equal to the value you enter.
I - Interest Level Interest levels let you identify certain interest categories. The interest
categories are LG=Lower Grades, MG=Middle Grades, and UG=Upper Grades.
V - Voice Voice capable test.
Some tests within the Accelerated Reader software have voice capabilities. The student listens and reads along while a voice reads each question and answer choice to them. This
feature may allow early readers or a students with certain reading difficulties to become successful using Accelerated Reader.
At the present time, voice tests are only available for a few lower level books.
